■3rd Person POV■

This is the last day of Oikawa in Japan, as tomorrow he will go to Argentina. Oikawa, GBF/N and Iwaizumi haven't heard about Y/N. They asked their friends like Maki, Matsun, and the others, but none of them know where she is.

Right now Iwaizumi sits on Oikawa's couch. Oikawa is sitting on the floor, back leaning to the couch and his face buried on his knees. Iwaizumi looks at some boxes inside Oikawa's apartment, they will be sent to Oikawa's parent's house.

Tomorrow Oikawa will leave Japan, but he still hasn't met or heard about Y/N. He's down like so down. GBF/N came with teas for all of them.

Iwaizumi: Trashykawa... call your mom now! ask if she has Y/N mother's number.

GBF/N: right... maybe Y/N is there

Oikawa looks up at Iwaizumi, eyes slightly widened. Iwaizumi might want to ask Y/N mom about her whereabouts. Oikawa had been keeping this from both his mother and Y/N mom, because he doesn't want them to worry, but it seems like this is the only thing left to do. He's ready to be scolded or screamed by both his mom and Y/N's

Oikawa : I have her mother's number...

Oikawa takes his phone and starts to look for Y/N's mother's contact. When he found it, he presses the call button and waits. Not long after her mother answers it. Oikawa put it on the loudspeaker, so Iwaizumi can also hear the conversation.

Y/N Mom: good evening Tooru! How are you, it's been so long since the last time I saw you.

Oikawa: good evening (mom name) san, I'm doing... fine. Yes, it's been 9 months since the last time we met, it's before you moved to Tokyo.

Iwaizumi: good evening (mom name) san

GBF/N: good evening auntie

Y/N Mom: oh my! Hajime, GBF? You guys are there too

They catching up with each other for a while, as all of them are close to her since when they were younger. Y/N mom moved to Tokyo 9 months ago, not long after Y/N dad passed away.

After talking for a while, asking about each other's being. Oikawa finally braces himself, Iwaizumi gives him the "go on" look. And Oikawa cleared his throat.

Oikawa: (mom name) san... I... I want to ask... is... Y/N is with you?

■Oikawa's POV■

Y/N's mom doesn't respond to me. After I asked her that, she's quiet and I don't even dare to spit another question. I can hear a sigh on the other line.

Y/N mom : Yes Tooru.... Y/N is here...

Iwa chan and I exchange a look at each other. So she really is there, which means she's in Tokyo. Iwa chan nods his head, urging me to talk to Y/N's mother. I took a deep breath and clear my mind.

Oikawa : (mom name) san... can I talk to Y/N?

Silence...

Y/N mom: I'm sorry Tooru, but Y/N doesn't want to talk to you.... what exactly happened between you two? do you mind telling me about it?

cold sweat running through my body, Iwa chan telling me to tell her mother about what happened.

Oikawa: (mom name) san, I... I'm sorry... I messed up.... I'm sorry I cheated behind her back.... that was so stupid of me, but... I won't do it anymore... I was greedy but, now I already know that all I need is Y/N, I.. never need any of those women. Y/N... she's the only one I need... so, please... tell her... I want to talk to her, at least one last time....

Y/N mom: what do you mean by one last time Tooru?

I can't talk, there's a lump in my throat preventing the words to come out of my mouth. Iwa chan saw that I'm getting antsy. He takes the phone closer to him and talks in my place instead.

Iwaizumi : Trash- Oikawa will fly to Argentina tomorrow, he's going to move there to join a team there. He hopes that he could at least clear things up with Y/N... so (mom name) san, can you please tell Y/N to pick up his call?

Both Iwa chan and I heard a door being closed on the other line.

Y/N mom: Y/N wai-.... oh dear...

Iwaizumi : what is it? 

Y/N mom: Y/N... she just left the house... 

I can feel my heart is breaking inside, did she hurt as much as I did right now? 

Y/N mom: Tooru... I'm disappointed in you... I've known you since you're just a baby... and my Y/N loves you so much....

Oikawa: yes... even I disappointed in myself... I'm so sorry (name) san...

Y/N mom: But, I'm going to try to talk it out with her... at least for the both of you to say goodbye properly, because I too... doesn't want my daughter to regret what she chooses.. I know she's hurting this much because she still loves you... I'll ask her to come to the airport tomorrow

I feel light but guilty as hell. (mom name) san is being really kind for doing all of that to me, to a jerk who had just hurt her daughter's heart. I can't help but shed a tear, regrets start to fill my head again. Why did I do it?

Oikawa: (mom name) san.... Thank you so much... Thank you.... I'm sorry...

Y/N mom: I already thought of  you, GBF and Hajime as my own childten, so if one of you is in a dispute with my daughter, I can't help but see it as my children fight with each other, so I can't stay mad.... I hope you and Y/N could at least making up, Tooru...

Oikawa: me... too... but I don't just want to make up with her... I hope, we can go back to being together... but if it's impossible, then... at least not being hated by her is enough...

With that Y/N mom asked my flight schedule for tomorrow as she said she will try to take Y/N to the airport with her. I told her my schedule and thank her again and again. after that we hung up. 

Iwaizumi: rest Trashykawa, let's just hope that (mom name ) san can persuade Y/N to come tomorrow...

Oikawa: what... if she doesn't show up?

GBF/N: Tooru...

Iwaizumi is walking to the door about to leave, but he stops for a sec.

Iwaizumi: well, think of it as your punishment... leaving without being able to see the face of the woman you love... let's go GBF/N..

With that, Iwaizumi and GBF leave my place to head home, as they also needs to come tomorrow. I walk to the balcony and look up at the sky. Y/N face displayed in there... at least on my mind is.

Oikawa: let me see you... please...

■3rd Person POV■

Oikawa, Oikawa's family, GBF, and Iwaizumi are now at the airport. Oikawa hasn't checked in because he's still waiting for someone, Y/N. Oikawa Tooru had just got a good head smack from his mother. Oikawa's mom asked why Y/N is not here, and Oikawa told her what actually happened two months ago and about yesterday's call with Y/N's mom as well.

Oikawa's mom: I can't believe you did that Tooruu... how can I face (mom name) after this...

Then they saw someone familiar walking in the distance. It's Y/N's mom, she's walking towards them. But Oikawa can feel that his heart clenches, it's hurting. There, Y/N's mother walking by herself, no sign of Y/N around her. When she's getting closer, Oikawa's mom came to her and hugs her.

Oikawa's mom: oh my, (mom name) I'm so sorry about what my son did to Y/N....

Y/N mom nods at her and telling her that it's alright she's not mad anymore, she's just a bit disappointed but that's it. Y/N mom then looks at Oikawa and walks closer to him. Oikawa looks down at her and sees her sad expression. Y/N mom places a hand on Oikawa's shoulder.

Y/N mom: I'm sorry Tooru...

Those words, Oikawa knows what it means. He then shows a painful smile.

Y/N mom: I've been trying to take her here but she, she doesn't want to, and I-

Oikawa: It's alright (mom name) san... Thank you for forgiving me, and thank you for asking her to come... I'm happy with that... well, I guess I'll take my leave then...

Oikawa places his hand on the watch on his left wrist. Iwaizumi and GBF/N saw this, that watch is a present from Y/N, It's a matching watch and Y/N has the other one.

GBF/N Tooru, are you okay?

Iwaizumi : Oi, Trashykawa... Should I try to call her aga-

Oikawa : It's okay Iwa chan...

Oikawa grabs the handle of his luggage, and looking back at his family and friends, he gives them a smile, but everyone can see that that smile is full of sadness.

Oikawa: maybe it's just like what you said Iwa chan... maybe, it's my punishment... well then goodbye everyone. Don't miss me too much

Oikawa turns to everyone, giving them hugs and saying goodbye, and he finally leaves. That day Oikawa Tooru left his country to pursue his dream, but the thing is heavy feelings are lingering in his heart. He touches the watch again, and tears fall from his eyes.

Because of his own fault

He can't even see the woman she loves for the last time
